Aarde

As a collection, Aarde (Dutch: ‘earth’) is about acts of communication with the earth, to finding peace, serenity, and a sense of ‘wholeness’ through them. Privacy is a luxury. Perhaps, some of us feel this the most, when we are trying to reconnect with the earth: by simply savouring its textures, or by capturing its neutral, unassuming moods in handcrafted forms. Through these private moments, we realise that the earth’s womb strengthens our body, so it can carry an airy, light spirit that is waiting to fly.
