A design inspired by the leaves of the Japanese maple tree has been embroidered on a 100% cotton velvet base fabric, which has then been dip-dyed using heritage techniques. Etch-effect details give it an interesting appearance: the combination of a freestyle painting and appliqué. Tonal hues temper the inherent sumptuousness of velvet with their mystical, peaceful air. The fabric is heavy, but soft to the touch, and ideal for statement upholstery and add-on accents.
