Sophisticated hunter and khaki green hues come alive in meandering cotton stitches, accentuating the rustic charms of the coarse linen fabric. Through a distilled sense of clarity, the embroidery creates a contemporary reinterpretation of the otherwise traditionally ornate damask pattern. Dyed-over with the pigment and finished with a ‘washed’ effect, the fabric displays striking ‘pools’ of colour which distinguish themselves through subtle tonal variations.
