Resist-dyeing techniques have been used to create this smart, ethnic-inspired, natural blend fabric. Cross-stitch constructions along the outlines, on the insides, and at various intersecting points of its pattern create interesting texture. These are juxtaposed with shaded variations resembling free-interpretation ‘ink-blots.’ A ‘triangle’ inspiration – in the crisis-cross diamond detail, and the pyramid-like look of the cross-stitched mounds, unifies the fabric’s geometric aesthetic. The honey-chestnut colour contrast is striking, yet peaceful and soft.
